POSH and Rights Awareness at C.T.L / WEC Charthawal
On 29th September, C.T.L / WEC Charthawal organized a special awareness session to empower women and girls from the local community. The session was led by Woman Sub-Inspector and a female constable, who guided participants on their rights and ways to protect themselves from abuse and harassment.
As part of the Mission Shakti initiative, the session emphasized women’s safety, dignity, and self-reliance. Participants were encouraged to be vigilant, confident, and proactive in safeguarding their rights. POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) training was also provided, highlighting workplace harassment, legal protections, and practical preventive steps.
Women were informed about support systems and helplines for immediate assistance, ensuring they are never alone in seeking help. The session reinforced the importance of awareness, self-confidence, and community support, inspiring participants to become advocates for safety, dignity, and empowerment.
Through this initiative, Ekal Gramothan Foundation continues its commitment to promoting gender equality, women empowerment, and community resilience, ensuring women are informed, secure, and self-reliant.
