CELEBRATING WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY: A STEP TOWARDS A GREENER FUTURE

On the auspicious occasion of World Environment Day, observed annually on June 5th, special programs were organized across various centers of the Ekal Gramothan Foundation. This global day serves as a reminder of the importance of protecting and preserving our environment. It unites communities, organizations, and individuals worldwide to take meaningful steps toward sustainable development. This year’s theme emphasizes the urgent need to restore degraded land, combat desertification, and enhance drought resilience. People around the world are actively participating in tree plantation drives, awareness campaigns, and various environmental activities. This year 7,230 villages enthusiastically celebrated the day by organizing impactful events that promoted environmental awareness and community participation. Through these collective efforts, we reaffirm our commitment to safeguarding the planet for future generations.
