Ekal Gramothan Foundation Inaugurates Three Computer Training Labs to Strengthen Digital Literacy in Rural Bharat
Ekal Gramothan Foundation (EGF) inaugurated three new Computer Training Labs (CTLs) in December – located in Chatra (Jharkhand) on 8 Dec, Sunpura (Arunachal Pradesh) on 23 Dec and Pamgarh–Kharsia (Chhattisgarh) on 26 Dec, and to expand access to digital education for rural and tribal youth and women. The initiatives have been supported by generous donors including Smt. Uma Gulani, Shri Nilesh Ji & Smt. Ekta Shah Ji, and Shri Mahesh Ji & Smt. Geeta Shah Ji.
The centres are equipped with modern computer systems and structured training modules designed to enhance employability and digital readiness. Our goal is to bridge the digital divide and build confident, skilled communities across rural Bharat.
Speaking at the inauguration, Dr. Lalan Sharma, Central Campaign Head, Ekal Abhiyan, said: “These centres will empower young people with essential digital skills and create pathways to dignified livelihoods.”
