Empowering Rural Women: Women Empowerment Center Inaugurated in Munger, Bihar

Ekal Gramothan Foundation marked a significant step towards women empowerment with the successful inauguration of Women Empowerment and Tailoring Training Centers (WEC) in Tarapur (Munger), Bihar, on 16 January 2026. The center was inaugurated with traditional lamp-lighting ceremonies, prayers, and the gracious presence of respected dignitaries, social leaders, and senior Ekal functionaries.

With enthusiastic participation from students, rural women, and community members, the center aim to provide vocational skill training, enabling women to achieve self-reliance, financial independence, and livelihood opportunities. This initiative reflects EGF’s continued commitment to building an empowered and self-reliant rural society.
