Run for Ekal – 160 KM Relay Run Held Successfully to Support Rural Development & Education

Ekal Gramothan Foundation successfully conducted Run for Ekal – 160 km Relay Run, aimed at strengthening awareness for rural education, skill development, healthcare, and integrated village development. The relay, supported by EGF Team, Aarogya Foundation, FTS members, donors, and volunteers, brought together urban supporters and rural communities in a powerful show of unity.
Flagged off from Decathlon, Kengeri, the runners covered 160 km to EGF-IVD Chamarajanagar, spreading awareness, engaging with communities, and symbolizing dedication and nation-building. The conclusion ceremony featured cultural welcome, donor and runner felicitation, and village sports including musical chairs, sack race, lemon-spoon race, and tug-of-war, with winners awarded certificates and trophies.
The event left a powerful message of unity, empowerment, and shared responsibility toward building a digitally skilled, educated, and self-reliant Bharat.
The event was graced by esteemed donors Shri Nanda Ji & Smt. Mridula Jyothi Ji as Chief Guests, with Aradhana Ji (General Secretary, EGF) as Chief Patron. The execution was led by Kumar Bhaskar Sharma Ji (Executive Director), Himanshu Mehra Ji (Project Head), Kundan Kumar Ji (PR Executive), and Nagaraja N Ji (IVD Manager). Six relay runners – Ritesh Bhardwaj , Ankit Kumar, Kaustubh Holla, Rajesh, Sajith Kumar, and Pandiyan – completed the journey with support from a six-member crew.
